    This career

    Hi all,

Im 20, UK, and considering a career at the moment. A pharmacist could be the one...

    1. After doing a degree in pharmacy, a 4 year Hon MPharm, can I start working, and earning £25 per hour?

    2. Do you work alone/in a team.

    3. What is the demand like? Would I struggle to find a job?

I think you would only get £25 if you were a locum rather than a pharmacy manager. However, most of the locum claims that I've seen seem to be £22/£23.

If you worked for a multiple would be a team. You would usually have a dispenser(s) and pharmacy assistants.

There always seems to be a need for locums to cover sickness/holiday/training days/pharmacist day off e.t.c

Don't forget the Pre-registration year, which is not lavishly remunerated.
    ....just my opinion

Also don't forget the course is fully timetabled and quite demanding.
