I did my first assesment via Medway and failed, even though it was pretty straight forward, has anyone got any experience of how I go about passing medway, for example form filling etc... I do not want to have to pay another£65 pounds! Thankyou
I attended a Medway MUR one day course and we were all passed at the end of the day. The day was hosted by Sigma at Watford.
Ask them for feedback guidance.

Hi, i'm in the exact same situation as yourself. I haven't a clue of how to actually pass these annoying c and d/medway case studies. Like you said, they are really straight forward but i don't know how they are marked?!?!?!?
Have u managed to pass it now?
has anyone actually passed??? ive done two and failed two and Im scared to do it again as I might fail a third. You are only allowed to fail two which means i have to pass the rest! Any guidance on the answers! Argh it is straighforward but sooooo annoying!
I have passed my assesment. My advice is listed below:
Read all the hints and tips section
Go through all the modules for the course
Also always remeber that an mur is not a clinically review and you can only provide advice or make recommendations
The back of the form doesnt matter just tick yes for all boxes
Try the sample case study before
Inorder to pass you have to get the answears to all three issues right for you to pass the case study
I also got it up the back passage quite hard actually it hurts too. coz first i got screwed my cppe, then they dont want to know you for a week! so i got medway and got sandwiched with them to. it is dam use and abuse! these guys luv it air tight!
I passed the Medway course a couple of months ago, Ive seen quite a few people saying they have difficulty with it, although not really sure why as I just seen it as an exercise to check you knew how to fill in the form.
As far as I could see it was just computer marked with an instant pass/fail results so I figured that they couldn't really assess what was written in the free text boxes so I just put the bare minimum in them, if anything. I think identifying the problems is the only important bit and because they are in the drop down pre-populated boxes it is fairly easy to see which are right and wrong, and the actions should be fairly common sense.
So my advice is when doing it keep reminding yourself this is a medicines USE review and not a clinical review, concentrate on the problem identification and actions, and dont concern yourself with the free type sections (second page) as I believe these are never even read when being marked
