erm...if you are talking about part 1 of the CPPE assessment, then try reading your BNF?

The questions are all clinical based questions, and really have little to do with the MUR process.

It is a little worrying if a pharmacist is struggling with a set of clinical questions!

dear cymru or whatetever your name is ,
I said it was my first time and i did not know the format or type or how the question was and there was no form of test questions to prepare beforehand and beside i am sure that i did very well but was told i failed a significant question. and they could not even tell me that what significant ones i failed as i am at loss and would would like to know so that i can focus where they want me to focus. i am trying to know if anyone knows these significant questions or can point me in the directions .
so keep your opinions to your self if you do not want to help. i need directions not sniping here and there.

You know what his name is as it appears above his thread. Saying 'or whatever your name is' is unnecessary.

I took my MUR qualification back in 2005 because, at the time, I had a lot of managers telling me it was impossible, they couldn't practice it, they couldn't answer questions, they didn't have time.....all sorts of reasons and excuses. So I decided to take it myself, even though, at the time, I had not been a full time dispensing pharmacist for some time, (I was in field operations management). I passed it first time.

Now this isn't about blowing my trumpet, it's helping you to blow yours whilst providing an example of how any pharmacist should be able to take and pass this course. Get your BNF out before you start the test. Have a look at the guidance to be found on the web. Stay calm......the questions aren't hard, just a little challenging but totally doable. Don't rush them, open up the relevant section of the BNF and read. The answers will be there.

Now try again and just remember your training..........You're a pharmacist !
