Pleaaaaase HELP, MUR questions for the second part, really stuck!

Hi everyone,
I've attempted the second part of the MUR assessment on CPPE on many occasions, however I am stuck and I genuinely do not know where am going wrong. I have read all the other threads and read all the service specs...etc, when I look at the questions, I am very sure that I am answering them right. Really confused and would be really really grateful if anyone who has passed or know where I can obtain more info could help me.

some of the Qs that am starting to have doubts are the one with the consent, you have to ask the patient for consent if its ok with them, so you cant just do the MUR with both people present as its one of the options and you can't ask the relative or third party if they'd like to stay as you'd have to get permission from the patient first right?
also you cant take MUR with carer although some people on the other forums say they have passed once they put it as true!! really confused!
The other question is whether acute conditions are ineligible for MURs, which i put as T since you have to be on med for at least 3 months before MUR can be done on those medications? is that right or?

Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

am on a par with you on the second part, failed MANY TIMES. It is very frustrating and I have thought about your Qs above, but service spec allows telephonic MUR provided PCT gives consent......

in regards to the rearranging MUR for another date and phoning patient, I do think that question has two appropriate answers, but then again I don't know whether its meant to be a tricky question and whether we should bother patient by phoning them whilst they are ill!! anyone who has undertaken and passed.

As for your question, I have been going for the following options myself, (keep a copy at pharmacy for 2 years, give the patient a copy and the GP), however I am a little doubtful about the GP as only if there are actions taken then u'l be obliged to send the GP and let them be aware otherwise they could request a copy of all MURs if they want. So again, although i think i know but still wondering whether been tricked and doing it wrong.

btw when answering the questions in the 2nd section, there could be more than one option right? we are not meant to be opting for best option right?

Please anyone out there who has passed, would be much appreciated to share your thoughts on these questions.
