RE: Failed part 4 of the MUR assessment - Why?

Hi, I'm new to this forum, but its good to hear that you have passed it (it gives me hope!!). I am a pre-registration pharmacist waiting for my exam results coming next week! I wanted to do this mur accreditation so I have a better chance of getting locum jobs.

I have failed part 4 of the MUR twice (I passed the other parts quickly and at the first attempt). The problem I have is similar to the one you had, which is that I dont know where I have gone wrong! Any advice you have would be great...thank you.

Re: Failed part 4 of the MUR assessment - why?

    Hello,
I did my pre-reg in a hospital in essex but looking for a job in london...these r what I though the answers should be!
Guy taking metformin 1 TDS - No issue (not suffering from symptoms of hypo/hyper glycaemia even thought he is not checking his blood glucose levels)
Ramipril - No issue (because its not the first time the patient is using it so there is no need to take at night)
    Bendro-No issue
Xalatan -check dose with prescriber - consideration by GP/pharmacist
lancets and test strips - educate on use - consideration by patient/pharmacist

please let me know what you think....
