It's just another way, the multiples extract every last drop of blood, sweat and tears out of you.
I can understand their point of view, in that money was taken out of the contract and put into the 'new services' as part of the professions desire to break free of the dispensary and provide ground breaking services.
However, its our duty as RP to make sure that we work safely. If rushing through a mountain of scripts to fit an MUR or two in results in something being missed we have failed.

Everyone but us seems to be in control of our workload. We do what comes through the door.
Maybe EPS nominations will help a little in that we can prioritise which scripts to do first, especially the repeats. This will happen in Utopia Pharmacy.
Meanwhile back in reality it will mean that staff hours are reduced as the peaks and troughs will be less pronounced.

It really is a bad joke Pharmanaut. I was continually reminded by the Locum agencies that Companies wouldn't book me anymore or work would be harder to get. My attitude was, fine I'm happy enough with three days a week, I'm not going to let my health suffer for those bast""ds. I'd rather work for half the money and be happy.
Alli training is the latest crap the agencies are harping on about, it literally never ends.

    Hi
This may sounds stupid, but as the mur target set at my store is 400, if my store does 328 are we still paid for the 328?? The answer I was given was no, we don't get paid, please can someone clarify this, I am not sure if I am being told this to add more pressure to get too the 400 target?

    thanks

You--the pharmacy--are paid for each MUR conducted. The quantity of MURs conducted in a calendar month should be declared on the FP34C.

    Don't give the Government Ideas!
They would set a target and put a penalty clause on it for not meeting it!
