    MUR accreditation

    Hello, hope you can help.

I was just wondering, once you've gained accreditation to perform MURs, do you need to repeat it at any stage e.g after 3 years? The only reason I'm asking is that some LHB ask that for some enhanced services you need to re-assess competence, as any certificates that you get to provide a service are only valid for 3 years.

Does anyone know if this is true for MURs as well?

    Thanks

I am currently working at a hospital, and this course is a community's one so my employer would not fund it (if it needs funding) !!

Do you mean any pharmacist can do it for free through the CPPE?

    Thanks.

Its not a course, you just do the assessment online with a BNF and the MUR info pages from the PSNC website in front of you.

Never mind, before people knew the dodges often took a dozen tries.
