Ok, within about half an hour of writing previous post I managed to pass the last two sections. It took me about 6 minutes to complete section 3, I couldn't believe it. I'm MUR accredited whoopee!

The School of Pharmacy, University of Reading do MUR
accreditation. It was set up in conjunction with the NPA, though you don't
have to be an NPA member. You have to do 1 case study and at least 2 face
to face MUR practices, with the patients agreement. Then submit all that in
a portfolio. The cost is £60. Pre-regs can also do the accreditation,
though they don't get the certificate until they register with the RPSGB.
For more details contact cippet@reading.ac.uk saying if you are a
    pharmacist or pre-reg

I have to declare an interest. I work in the department that does the
accreditation. If you do contact CIPPET can you say that you were referred
from this forum. It will be useful to show the value of the forum.

    Thanks

    Hey ppl

I’m MUR accredited, but I work in hospital now. Do I still need to send the certificate to the PCT even though I won’t be dealing with MUR’s??

    Any suggestions please?

You're not obliged to send it anywhere unless you intend to do MUR's

But if you intend to do some more community locums - then have a chat with your agency - the multiples might want to register you with the PCTs
