The course itself took me less than a day, then it took 9-10 days between posting my case studies off and receiving the letter stating that I'd "passed". The official "certificate" came a few weeks after that, but the first letter was enough to get me accredited with the Local Health Board (I'm in Wales, I think things are a bit different in England).

Hey, I e-mailed Medway Greenwich University, and this was the reply I got:

'Thank you for your e-mail with respect to the above.

We are not running one day courses for Skills for the Future but
you can obtain a CD from the Druggists and Chemists Wedsite, or
alternatively we have a paper based version.

If you would be kind enough to let me have your address I will
forward this and other information to you.

Regards'

"Skills for the future" C&D CD: you can have mine if you're prepared to send me 3 boxes of After Eights (dark chocolate) in exchange...
Just PM me!

I just passed section 1 on the CPPE MUR accred screen, yay! I was pleasantly surprised to find that the questions were almost the same as the ones I saw the first time around, with some minor changes. Now, I just need to get my hands on a drug tariff for part 2.

I'll think about getting Zoggite the After 8s if I fail miserably, but I'm not sure what PM means.

Yes, it does: I have all 20 modules, collected from the C+D between june 2004 and april 2005, + the assessment CD, all stored neatly in an A4 ring-binder; You'll have to be quick, though, because I'm going abroad for a week on friday 11 jan., so PM ("private message", Irpolo!) me your address if you wish me to post it to you before I leave, otherwise it'll have to be after jan.20th...

Incidentally, I won't include any of my answers/case studies, that would be cheating!

To be honest it was kind of easy, I think telling you to study modules and stuff for it would be OTT. My genuine suggestion would be for you to try it and find out. You can look up answers in the BNF, and if you're not fast enough the first time round you can just do it again ( in 6 days time), the questions they asked were almost the same second time round.

Computer connected to the internet, BNF (or eBNF particularly if you have a twin screen setup), and possibly reading glasses.
