    Superdrug Position

    Hi all,

Just want to make sure that I am reading this correctly! Are they really paying a pharmacist manager 22-24k??

Who on earth would take up that position for such an appalling rate .... or have I got my wires crossed?

It does say part-time. I'm hoping it means 20 hours or less per week. If not, who ever accepts this salary is either desperate or has no respect for their fellow professionals (or doesn't consider themself one!)

Pharmacist salaries are in reverse sadly due to more pharmacists accepting lower rates.

They're advertising for a Pharmacy Manager at 39-44K. The first job is no longer available, so I think it would have been for a store manager

Superdrug were paying me £44k in 2003 when I left. At an increase of 2% a year that should be £50k now.
