Looks like its all getting sorted, but only when going via the PDA. But now (via a call from my agency), I'm being accused of being over-the-top and unfair. Yes, how dare I expect to get paid for working for a company! The only downside is now I will get even less work than I was getting before since Boots are so p***ed off with me...

Did the agency receive their fee for the booking?

I'm assuming they already had that. My friend said an agency is always very good in collecting their fees from the multiples, as it is dealt with via a separate means.

If the agency paid the fee, positive proof you worked the day in question. Unfortunately, If people don't do their jobs properly you suffer and then they blame you for the aggro. human nature.

In case anyone's wondering, I now haven't worked for Boots since November, how mature of them!

No loss really. I haven't worked for them for over 4 years (out of choice mind you ... not because they are p****d with me). Other organisations out there will take you on so don't worry about it!

Problem is, I was already blacklisted by one other multiple. I took work through one agency, who seemed to think I was agreeing to do the work, when in fact, I wasn't sure. The work was over a 2 week period, I cancelled them, giving about 3 days notice for the earliest, and about 1-2 weeks notice for a few others. Obviously the agency mouthed off about me , and must be friendly with the coordinator, as now the multiple said they will only give me work when they're desperate....

Don't think it is necessarily because you fell out with them that you have no work from them. No-one is getting locum work from Boots at the moment. They have enough managers, second pharmacists and relief managers that they don't need locums. It's a matter of supply and demand, and with the supply side being excessive, there is no demand
