    Nail in my tyre

Today is the fourth time since December I have found a nail in my tyre.

Nail One - noticed as tyre blew out in the fast lane of the M1
Nail Two - noticed when tyre was 5 pressure bars below normal consistently
    Nail Three - same
Nail Four - tyre looked deflated

I'm a Pharmacy Manager and back at the back door of my work. Unfortunately there is no CCTV, or in the surrounding streets.

My car isn't the flashest one about, so i think I could be victimised. The dentists next door drive Porsches and brand new Audis (list price 50K+).

I was thinking who would do it? I don't really get on with the store manager and only once ever had an argument over parking when a sales assistant parked in my reserved space a few thursdays in a row. But it's a bit paranoid to think they would want to kill me?

I haven't told the police yet as I wasn't quite sure if there was a pattern forming, the dentist next door did have a lot of building work, incl. roofing so I'd expect a few nails to be lying around.

I'm thinking of paying for parking elsewhere, as i'm terrified of a blow out on the motorway again!

Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this?

I have been offered some jobs elsewhere recently and don't really fancy spending £600 a year on car park charges.

    Thanks

could just be bad luck - is the car park a bit crappy?
I had a run of nails/screws/old drill bits like that one year. Keep a spare and check your tyres regularly. Try not to drive over the dusty bits where chevrons are on the motorway. Only use the hard shoulder when you have to and check your tyres afterwards as those places end up full of all sorts of crap.

Are they all the same type of nails (like the very wide, flat headed roofing nails)?
Last time the roof was done at our shop there were nails bloody everywhere. We ended up brushing the car park off then whizzing over it with a sea magnet to pick up any missed ones.
Someone with an axe to grind is much more likely to simply slash your tyres or pull off your valves, or do all 4 at once.

Once had a scratch down to the metal on my car, ran from front to back - whole length.
As it was a car that came with the job, I spoke to the owner - he said to 'leave it' we'll get it fixed when we sell the car on.
He then advised me to take off the wheel covers. When I went out to do this they had already gone.
Also had a few nails in tyres, but you don't know if that is deliberate or just 'that's life'.

Having experienced that I never drive a brand new car or anything flash to work.
Also avoid looking sharp dressed etc etc.
It can create resentment leading to hatred amongst some of the clientele.
Where am I?; In the Pharmacy.

Tz, have a job-ticket, so I just can delete such e-mails about scratches on cars happening in the subterranean garage.
Sharp dressed - that might be the reason.
