[Deleted. If you wish to discuss the effects of various religions on the workplace in a critical I-know-the-answer-to-this manner, I refer you to one of the many forums available for that. Moderator]

Spot on Neo-Pharmacist, it seems religion is a no go area on these forums, despite the fact that it is a very relevant point to this discussion.

    Re: Name and shame

Religion always brings very strong feelings to debate on these forums and based on past experiences and discussions which have got out of hand David was quite right to soft delete the posts, in my opinion.

I think an appropriate local phrase to me is "not worth t' trouble."

It's not just one forum member who needs to wind a neck in.
“It's not worth doing something unless you were doing something that someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren't doing.”

[Post deleted. Flaming is out of order.
    quote from the forum rules:
    7. Flaming is also not allowed. This is defined as the act of sending or posting messages that are deliberately hostile and insulting, usually in the social context of a discussion forum on the internet. It is genearlly a personal, malicious or judgemental attack on another person or group. This will not be tolearted. The line between expressing strong opinions and flaming someone can sometimes be a fine one. If you feel you have (or are being) flamed by another member, just contact admin and the matter will be investigated. Posts of a threatening or slanderous nature will be removed.
Can we draw a line there, please. Moderator]

Correct. Posts where a member's religion is criticised in an abusive manner are a no-go on this forum. I call it racism. Those who pretend not to understand the difference between discussion/enquiry and abusive criticism should rethink their positions.

    Quote from the forum rules:
    4. Any member who is intentionally rude, unpleasant, racist, anti-Semitic, sexist or generally disruptive will be warned and even banned from the forum.
I think some of these posts scored 4 or 5 out of a possible 6.

    I'm closing this thread.
