    Re: EU Pharmacist

Much of it makes very little sense, does it. All piecemeal legislation, and none of it put together at any time. Part of the reason we need a new Medicines Act; to tidu up a lot of these anomalies.

I believe RPSGB's been looking for it for some time, but there's always "no legislative time"!

The comment about why he three year rule was right though. At the time it was introduced, Control of Entry was very new and significant on people's radar. There's been a lot of movements of surgeries, and consequent moves by pharmacists to get close to the new developments.
One result of that has been some very cramped pharmacies!

    HI Raoul

I like your 'to add some flavors on the meal' re: EU pharmacist post. Would you mind if I use some parts of it in our monthly web based article? In my view it encompasses beautifully what we are dealing with at the moment.

    Re: EU Pharmacist

Can anyone point me to the relevant part of the legislation or the RPSGB website or even better tell me if it applies to pharmacists who qualified in the UK via the OSPAP route, I would keep on looking but I'm out of energy.

    Thanks,

    Paul
