    i too find that there are lots of lazy locums and managers. the secret is try and rise above it and not let it get to you. this can be hard but it is better than sinking down to their level. lets hope that they start to feel guilty and put the books/papers away.
    otherwise it can turn into a do unto others before they do to you but do it first situation which tars you with the same brush.
    it's a zen thing if you hate to do something-like clear up others messes, make a point of always doing it so it doe'sent mean anything to you and eventually the person making messes thinks "god i had better buck up here".
    of course it would be nice if we were not all paid the same especially if we are carrying others. but thats a big part of the rise above it bit.
