Nah, in my case I just hit the wrong button by mistake.
no training opportunities
Not if your one of the lower bands (2/3), there are people who have been in the same post for donkey’s years with no personal or professional development. It’s like there in limbo.
My heart goes out to them.
Standing on my feet for 10 hours a day. I would be overjoyed if head officed announced we were closing for half an hour at lunchtimes.
If we have a visit from PCT rep/Area Manger/Cluster Lead ect not being able to step away from the checking part to properly deal with any issues that need discussing so half of the things I want to go through are either missed or rushed through and we don't see an improvement. Doesn't help that we only see the AM once in a blue moon either.
So let's all be honest here, we're all talking about community Pharmacy. If it's so miserable, why does anybody want a job in the community anymore. Is it purely money driven? What's the point in having extra money, if you're miserable at home and work everyday because of the pressures of job. I've locumed in some shops where I wouldn't take a managerial position in them for a large bag of diamonds, much less 45 grand! Locuming in the community isn't much better, as you've no idea what you're walking into each day, precisely why I'm getting the hell out of community altogether.
I got out of community in 1961, Best decision I ever made.
