Professional Indemnity Cover for independent locums

is it (a) available and (b) advisable in the South ?

Only found one company that does it (via the NPA if memory serves) or are we covered by who we're working for through any channels ?

    Thanks

The pharmacy you are working for must have professional cover for ALL the pharmacists working there so you should be covered.
Situation could be more complicated now with the new Fitness to Practice requirements e.g. if the pharmacy you were working for made a complaint against you.
It would be no harm to talk to AIC who provide the professional cover for most Irish pharmacies. They will no doubt try to convince you that you need insurance but I have always found them fair and approachable.
