Near Milton Keynes is the Lakes estate. One locum had his car hauled out of a lock up garage and set alight. The staff would roll down the shutters at lunchtime and leave me locked inside, with a key in case of fire.

Whatever pays the bills I'm afraid! I've actually done a day in Ballymun.
I was pissed off last Friday afternoon because my locum the next day was cancelled at short notice. Ended with no work on Saturday. And employers complain about locums attitudes.

    Re: Locum work in Ireland

I got an e-mail today from a company claiming to have 600 locums on their books. In a country with 1,600 pharmacies - many of which find their own locums and never use an agency - I just don't understand how they can find work for even a tiny fraction of this number.

So are they telling fibs or are there really that many pharmacists using one agency to look for locum work in Ireland?
