Sorry I can't help you on that one. I do know that this year's graduates found it very difficult to get placements so I would expect that you could have some difficulty getting an internship.
They are generally paid but not very well.

As the old song said "I heard it on the grapevine". If english isn't your first language that means it was a story that was circulating rather than one I heard from a particular person.

Dear hibernia,
Thanks alot for your reply and on the irish forum u refered me to,however in order to register there was a question GMS code for Ventolin Evohaler 100mcg A&H ?!! perhaps can u help out with that?
I was wondering, how difficult is it to get unpaid pre-reg position? must it be a paid position in order to be registered or is it ok to get unpaid pre-reg position just for the sake of getting registered.

I have sent you a private message that I hope helps you.
Regarding unpaid positions I think the story is that Irish employment law demands that you are listed as an employee of wherever you are working and so you must receive at least the minimum wage.
I always believed in "a fair day's work for a fair day's pay" and don't think anybody should work for nothing or less than they are worth. Unfortunately many pharmacists do.

Hibernia,
I greatly appreciate your support and it means alot to me.
I just was wondering if it is very hard or impossible find minimum pay for pre-registration then i would not have any choice then to do it unpaid for the sake of being registered.
once again,thxx mate
I wish you guys merry christmas and happy new year
cheers,
