Absolutely...tax clawback is down for two reasons. Enforced salary reductions are bringing many employees under the €36,000 higher tax band, therefore no more 42% take. Secondly, as you rightly say, cash payments for jobs done are obviously on the rise...have you noticed some people are being very quiet, when previously they couldn't stop shouting about their success? Prime example: any Fianna Fail politician..
