    Holidaying in Ireland

I'm planning a holiday later this summer, some time towards end of August, early September, and I was wondering whether anyone can give me advice on the best places Ireland has to offer ? I don't like beaches but I prefer to actually see things when I'm on holiday. Any recommendations on great holiday places would be appreciated.

Drive down from Dublin (I used to stay at Killiney watching dawn rise out of the sea)) and drive along the military rd to Wexford (Talbot hotel). Stop at Glendalough and the falls on the way. (Don't stop in Tallacht)

Views are stunning, I prefer it to the Kerry ring.
