Industrial summer practice for undergraduates

Hi guys, I would like to ask whether any of you know if it is possible for undergraduates to undertake some kind of summer placement job in industrial sector of pharmacy.. Although I have been told by johnep already.. .. that everything has moved to other countries like india etc.. i know that there is a speck of it left in the uk although it is competetive .. i would still like to try.


would you have any advice on how to look for something like this ??

Go to any pharmacy and ask if could look in C&D price list. At the front is list of pharmaceutical companies. Many just import, but look at the larger ones and 'phone round.

There should be someone at your uni who has involvement with industry and can provide info on industrial placements. From my experience, such placements are (badly) advertised on co websites. Most big co's will have deadline dates around nov/dec so be quick !

talk to your uni... lots of students here are getting industrial placements!
