I am considering to do PhD in Medicinal Chemistry. What are the job prospects for a holder of PhD in Medicinal Chemistry? Are they good? Are they good in pharmaceutical industry?

Re: PhD in Medicinal Chemistry
It depends on the kind of project you choose. Which area did you finish PHD -What kind of bench work you did - Synthetic or Natural products.
As far as I know for PHD holders, good opportunities are there in basic R&D. However due to recession industry might be more sceptical selecting Scientists.
Cheers
