Hi Guys,
I am a current hospital pre-reg, next year as a route to industry i am considering MBA or Msc in health Ec in distance learning mode to allow for mybusy enough schedule.
My question is this-which of these masters would be best suited to someone like me looking to get into industry? I hear alot about people doing extra courses to make themselves better job candidates-can someone fill me in on what these courses are?
If someone can recommend a specific masters, that would be great. I have looked online and found one distance learning masters from a London uni was £45K. That is just too much-has anyone heard of any courses which are not so expensive?
Re: MBA/MSC Health Economics as route to industry?
Cheers Johnep, that certainly is an idea. I will check that out. with regards to a specific topic, what type of masters would best fit the bill-a business one or economics based one?
Can someone give an example where a pharmacist chose a course with the aim of industry access?
Is there any perceived bias against Open University Graduates, when compared to someone who graduated from a more traditional uni?
Sorry about all the questions guys, Im just trying to build up a good picture of what people recommend and what we can do to make better job. candidates. Basically i am trying to see how the pros do it!
