Pay starts lower around 24-31k but within ten yrs u cud be on 50-70k. If its a large teaching hospital it is likely to carry out alot of clinical research in conjunction with industry. Here is a link to a survey done by the RPSGB for industrial pay http://rpsgb.org/pdfs/ipgsurvey08.pdf. But dont worry to much oppurtunities are still vast, u can go into marketing, regulatory affairs, law, clinical research, formulation design. The choice is yours. Then u always have research through academia. The RPSGB already annouced it wants about 300 more pharmacists to do PHDs yet another oppurtunity. Remember most of all passion and having an optermistic outlook will go a long way.

Well now you have learnt two things:
    1) Lots of acronyms out there.
    2) Most you can find yourself on google.

Yep it definately helps to do your own research. To do an mba generally you need around 5 yrs work experience and a 2.1 degree plus an entry exam. Other MBAs 2-3 yrs experience i.e. at a lesser known institution.
Sorry for late reply i have been away
