The interview panels were made up of 3 interviewers possibly from hospitals you have applied to, possibly not and each interviewer had 3 Questions each for a total of 9 questions.
The questions as best as I can remember which they asked were:
Why Hospital Pharmacy?
What will you as a person bring to the hospital?
Talk about a recent pharmacy news items with the potential of harming the public. (Nurofen plus in the news at the time)
A patient has been prescribed metronidazole, what are the questions you would ask or what things would you check before it is given to the patient?
Do you know the role of the hospital pharmacy technician in the pre-registration year and what is it?
Talk about a common medicine you may encounter and have to counsel patients on and why.
Why did you choose these particular hospitals?
What position in a team would you be least comfortable in?
Describe a situation where you recognised you were wrong or made a mistake and what you did to rectify this and to help prevent yourself from doing it again.
Following this there was a 20 minute calculation test consisting of 5 multiple choice questions, basic stuff such as number of tablets to give for a months supply of alternating dose and time taken for a particular dose of medicine to be eliminated from a person of a certain weight.
I hope this helps you in some way or another.
