A colleague has got a pre-reg offer, and is wondering about vaccinations needed for clinical work. Would she need to have Hep B before starting?

Sorry I can not help with the Hep B problem but I was wondering which hospital has offered the placement and what type of questions did they have?

I didn't have my Hep B immunisation when I got my offer and I noted this on the occ health form - I'm in the middle of the course of immunisations now.

I can't imagine it would be a problem if you let them know in advance that you'll be fully immunised by Sep.

i wouldn't have thought it was a big issue. just start the immunisation course as soonas you can and let them know you've not had it yet but in the middle of the vaccines. doubt they will retract your offer based on the fact you have not had your hep b vaccines, not as though you'll be operating on people and dealing with blood on day 1
