Diploma confused :( - Help?

If you have been in a job as a band 6 for almost 3 years and have not started your diploma because your hospital trust thinks you’re not ready for it / Funding issues – what would you do?

The diploma has started – but you feel disheartened and want to move on because you’ve waited so long and need a change of environment…..but no other hospital will take you on unless you complete the diploma……..so confused?

I take it you're not in both positions?

for point 1-I would look for another job to do the diploma. Sadly it sounds like you would have to start band 6 all over again to do the diploma.

for point 2- Hang in there, will be worth it. get the diploma then think about moving on. is tricky to try and transfer diplomas..you've made it this far, may as well see it to the end

Both points are for the same person. They waited so long, it was frustrating – then eventually got the chance to start the diploma.
