life really is unfair......i should know better, but it still pisses me off - m###f###
Job Reference: 344-1620AKZ
Job Title: Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician
East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust
Experience suggests that those applicants overqualified for such posts do not tend to pursue a career in this area or commit to these positions post training. Therefore due to the required length of training, applicants who demonstrate a high level of educational attainments over and above the essential requirements for this post may not be shortlisted.
so basically people like me whove already been to uni and got fuk all from it are screwed
can the nhs discriminate some1 for being overqualified for a job?
i really need ur help on this one
so can they?
cuz East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust seem to think so!

I believe (from the grumbles I hear) that it happens in many jobs - but they don't often state it up front! Age discrimination also happens but the HR dept have more sense than to state it in the advert. Good luck challenging it.
