hey for pre-reg year would you advise hosp accom in london for the experience and as it will save journey time thus can work in eves towards pre-reg exam or is hopsital accom always dirty and not nice?!

I would go look at the hosp accomodation. Some places in London have nice new shiny ones which are like the modern Uni halls - however, some hospitals still have lovely olde worlde rooms; sink et al.
I am living in hospital accomodation in London as it is much nicer on the purse strings, and just that little bit easier when moving to somewhere you're not too familiar with. There's nothing to stop you moving out later on.
