Clinical diploma-do they follow University Term Times?

    Hi all
I have been speaking to some people recently about the clinical diploma (I work in Hospital). My question is:if you do the diploma over 2 years, how does it work in terms of time off during the diploma, i.e. do you get summer break and follow the usual uni term time pattern? I know there are distance learning diplomas-so obviously you would not be attending a university anyway, but do distance learning courses follow uni term time?
Im just interested to hear what it is like to do such a diploma.

it depends which diploma you do, the one I'm doing with keele starts in january each year- 3 periods of work jan-apr, apr-jun and jun-sep. as long as all the work gets done it doesn't really matter if you take holidays during these times.

    Hi Kerrypharm
further to your reply in December-I am now wondering how the diploma is going for you? My main worry about starting one is the time committment. Some say it doesnt take too much time outside of work to get the work covered. Others say they must spend weekends working on it to get it all done.
    How do you rate it?
    Thanks
