Have you verbally accepted the first offer? If so then this is seen as a legal contract. RPSGB say that "verbal and written acceptance must be honoured other than in the most exceptional circumstances, i.e those which are beyond their control or which they could justify as being professionally acceptable". If they pressured you into accepting before you heard from Great Ormand Street contact the Pre-reg division of the RPSGB. Employers' best practice guidelines stipulate they should give no less than 3 days after offering a place for students to respond back to them.

just ring and apologies, so they can offer the place to someone else. they will be fine with that... if asked for a reason, say you found a place near home so you would not pay rent for a year.

yeh no contract till sumemr next yr i guess i can hold that against them
but what if you dont want to do pharmacy anymore or something and you want to pull out its seems silly theyd make you even if you havent signed anything ...
Contact the pre-reg division they'll be able to advise you. It MAY be possible to get out of your first offer although there would have to be a "professionally acceptable" reason to do so.
