No hotpants.

If you're a pharmacist its formal, nil bellow elbows.
If you're a tech or assistant you should probably call them up. You usually get a blouse. Black pants and black shoes are the norm at the hospitals i have worked at. If they can't get you a uniform/blouse then a white shirt or something similar will do. Again, if going on the wards its nil bellow the elbows.
We have tunics, black pants or skirt
I dont think you can have anything on your wrists (watches etc) if your going on the wards.
Pharmacists wear smart clothes
Might be best to contact the dispensary manager. We were lucky, we could wear anything within reason (i.e NO HOTPANTS!!!!)Mind you, if you go out on the wards topping up, you might have to wear something smart....
Casual smart – well that was what I was told by the pharmacy secretary.
You will be pressured by the senior techs/dispensary manager to wear a tunic.
Basically it’s frowned upon if you don’t wear one. They want to put you in your place. Some snobby staff don’t like it if you look like there equal.
The secret is, once your 3 month probationary period is up wear what ever you want. But make sure you have it written somewhere in your contract that you can wear casual smart and that the tunic is optional!
But in reality once you put it on, its stays on lol
I prefer to wear me tunic - means im not getting any of my own clothes wrecked at work iykwim - When i was a manager in community i had to dress smart/casual and it was a right pain finding stuff to wear in a morning
didnt like shoppi for stuff for work though - it was boring
Much prefer the tunic now - plus when you get home its a relief to get changed!!! Although who decided white was a good idea needs their head examined!!! Pharmacy is not a 'clean' job!!

are you kidding me
have you looked at what other people do in the medical field?
just take a hard look at umm lets say those over worked n under staffed nurses/hca'a/cleaners. they clean urine, drool, vomit, blood, and mucus etc.
