Dear all Hospital Pharmacists, I recently attended an interview for a clinical pharmacy post at a hospital and was unsuccessful, I will ask for feed back but it would be helpful if not insightful if you could let me know what responses the interviewers were looking for in answer to the following questions:
1. How would deal with an under performing member of staff if you were the senior pharmacist in charge when such an incident took place ?
2. How would you counsel a patient on the proper use of his/her medication ? in this instance the medicine was prozac.
3. List a few interventions from your CPD diary ?
I have satisfactorily dealt with questions similar to this when being interviewed for positions within the retail sector but is it different in Hospital.
If anyone can shed some light on inner workings of Hospital pharmacy then I would very much appreciate it.
