    antidepressants for anxiety?

    i need urgent help please.would anyone tell me the mechanism of anti-anxiety action of antidepressants.

    First port of call would be to check the BNF for anti-depressants with anxiolytic indications. Then check a good clinical textbook for mechanisms.
