    propranolol with hydroxzine

    can propranolol be taken with hydroxzine for anxiety?

    well the first drug will control the somatic symptoms and the second will do with the CNS symptpms so they seem to be synergistic but since the hydroxzine inhibit the CYP2D6 enzyme in liver for which propranolol is a substrate,a little lower dose of propranolol is required in this combination.but since there is no info about the extant to which the hydroxzine inhibit the enzyme and therefore no info about the dose of propranolol in this combonation.so this combination is not safe.
