Medicines Use Review. To ensure pt knows what medicines are and why need to take them. check any problems.

It's also a way for the NHS to pick up the slack from the GPs contract negotiations.

The Govt said "we're not paying you as much as you want"

so the Drs said "fair enough we won't do the work"

So the govt needed some stooges to do it instead.


Oh yeah, it's also a way for pharmacists with the time to make extra money.

But wait, it's actually money from the global sum so you get paid the money you would have got if you had just dispensed Rxs under the old contract. And if ou don't do the MURs you don't get it at all.
