Dear pharmacists

please could you tell me if there is any nsaid gel (for pain in dislocated sholder) like ibuprofen gel, but that does not contain ethanol, and preferably no alcohol at all?

Use a cream --- Proflex.

Go to your friendly local independent chemist, who will be delighted to order it for you (if they don't have it in already). It should take about six (working) hours to arrive.

Beat me to it David. Available same day from any wholesaler. However, Boots will not do special orders now as too many not collected. Superdrug will. Often stocked in the dispensary rather than on the counter.
In stock at both my local Boots and Superdrug.

Wasn't Proflex discontinued a couple of months ago?

Sorry, I just checked and it has been discontinued. Some pharmacies may still have a tube on the shelf though.

well, I managed to find somewhere that promised to order a tube for me - ready for tomorrow, hopefully that will be there

I hope you manage to get it. Our wholesalers haven't had any in stock for quite a long time but there must be some left somewhere.

It might be best to ring the pharmacy before you go to pick it up.

Why do you need alcohol free?
