cialis from an internet pharmacy

i have been precribed a private precription for cialis to see if it helps sexual side effects from citalopram. my gp said i am not entitled to it on the nhs, which is ok.

He wants me to try 10mg, therefore i have four tablets. he also mentioned there is a one a day dose of 2.5mg/5mg. just wondering best way to take the 10mg? i may do one tablet a weekend for a month to trial. then if it works ask for one a day dose which would be about £60 a month. I mean i dont smoke or drink so i dont regret paying my own way for this treatment, which will allow me to stay on citalopram and continue good progress.

I phoned my chemist and they said 4 tablets would be £40.49. but i looked on the internet and found that they are slightly cheaper. see link below, can you confirm that these are a proper chemist?

You can verify an online pharmacy is registered with the GB regulator by clicking on the green cross, with the words "Registered Pharmacy". This will take you to a part of the regulator's site which will confirm the name and address of the Internet Pharmacy, it's URL, and also suggest other checks that you can do.

The price you quote suggests 4x10mg. Here is a link to some patient information: Tadalafil | Medicine | Patient UK you should get a leaflet with the tablets. basically take one half an hour before sexual activity and the effects last 36 hours so don't take them two days in a row.

Take your prescription to a local chemist a ask them to match the online price.

There is a 2.5mg tablet but I would charge £83.99 for a months supply taking one daily but I've never heard of this?

Answering my own question:
"In responder patients to on-demand regimen who anticipate a frequent use of CIALIS (i.e., at least twice weekly) a once daily regimen with the lowest doses of CIALIS might be considered suitable, based on patient choice and the physician's judgement.

In these patients, the recommended dose is 5mg taken once a day at approximately the same time of day. The dose may be decreased to 2.5mg once a day based on individual tolerability."

thank you for your reply. yes i would like frequent use method. you say break tablet in half, am you able to break them in half? as they are almond shape apparantely

with the risk of sounding like a grumpy old sod, the original poster could try asking the pharmacist he obtained the rx from, if he finds that its hard to actually get this advice , he will then realise that the few extra quid he'd have to pay a bricks and mortar pharmacy go towards underpinning the costs of this service.
