Is there any alternative for Corlan pellets? I presume there isn't because the market for it is too small. Another supply problem...

It came back into stock today.......I'm certain that it will be OOS again soon though. The BNF suggests the following (unlicensed) options......
Beclometasone inhaler (eg. Clenil Modulite) 50mcg or 100mcg sprayed onto the ulcers twice a day.
A betamethasone soluble tablet (Betnesol) can be dissolved in a small amount of water (approx. 20ml) to make a mouthwash. Rinse the mouth four times a day - do not swallow.
However, both of these are POMs.

Not according to my copy of the BNF.

Then there is an error on the EMC website:
Corlan Pellets - Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC) - electronic Medicines Compendium (eMC)
Where is the error you refer to?
I lifted this from your own link:
Adults and elderly:
Corlan Pellets should not be sucked, but kept in the mouth and allowed to dissolve slowly in close proximity to the ulcers. One pellet should be used in this way four times a day. If the ulcers have not healed after 5 days of treatment (completion of one pack), or if they recur quickly after healing, a doctor should be consulted.
Only if patient is under 12 years of age, then product is POM.
Fleegle.
When Adcortyl was mentioned, I thought do they have supplies we don't know about. Good job detective Dave was on the case.
