Reimbursable and non-reimbursable drugs
Could anyone tell me what does mean by Reimbursable drugs? What does happen to the pharmacist if a patient buy non-reimbursable drugs?
How does a pharmacist sell reimbursable drugs and non-reimbursable drugs, is there any different rules?
Could a patient buy reimbursable drugs prescribed by a doctor without expenses? If so, then who will pay the pharmacy for that drugs?
Thanks in advance

Re: Reimbursable and non-reimbursable drugs
These are terms re whether a product is allowed on NHS or insurance.
Most health services and insurance cos have list of approved meds. These are reimbursable. Those that are not on the list, pt will have to get on private script and pay full charge.
