Default The rate of injection …?

I'm not sure why the rate of injection is so important for some specific medicines? Why not IV sometimes - I don't mean the cases which the manufacturer advises IM only? Any comments?

Default IV or IM ?

i think it`s because of their Formulation \
-some drugs needs Preservatives which may lead to emboly, toxicity if administrated IV -
-and the Solvents;IM drugs often have been solved in a unsoluble base.and if we insert them directly into the veins,,
-IV dose is often less than IM formulation

usually using IM instead of IV is more Dangerous!
