    Aston university for OSPAP ?

    Hello guys...
    i have got an offer letter from Aston to pursue my OSPAP from Oct. 2010...However i have also applied to Brighton uni...CAN AYONE PLEASE SUGGEST IS ASTON AS GOOD AS BRIGHTON??
    THEY HAVE ASKED ME TO PAY 500£ DEPOSIT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TILL APRIL 30... WHILE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY INTIMATION FROM THE BRIGHTON...
    SHALL I WAIT FOR THE OFFER LETTER FROM BRIGHTON OR ASTON IS ALSO WORTH DOIN??
    SUGGESTIONS PLEASE...AND I HEARD EVEN IN BRIGHTON THEY HAVE STARTED CLASSES 5 DAYS A WEEK INSTEAD OF 2 ...IS IT TRUE??

    According to ranking lists for pharmacy schools in the UK, Aston and Brighton are pretty much the same standard, though Aston leads slightly or by a few places in most lists.

    Trust me for a OSPAP, it really makes not much of a difference if you go by Ranking. Since you will be doing lot of stuff crammed in just under 9 months, and all the modules are almost same everywhere. Most importantly no one really asks you from where you did your OSPAP. All that will be important is to get a good pre-reg placement and pass the registration exam. In my opinion RGU is the best with all improved and latest technology in teaching. Drawbacks are they are more Scotland oriented in terms of legal and public health issues, though they do teach you about the other places in the UK. It all depends on your current circumstances and affordability.

    @ Shan - ya thnx for the reply mate....ya i think RGU is also v good but the thing is its in Aberdeen and its too cold there...i hate winters in the uk...so i didnt apply thre...
    but i think i ll go for Aston as i have heard ASton and brighton are the best... And one more thing i wanted to know is that do i have to apply for the pre reg training before december?? coz i heard its very diff nowadays to get a placement for the training.... am really worried bout the future after this course...

    hey guys,

    I am eager and deeply interested in applying for OSPAP this Sept. in ASTON. I was wondering does anyone knows someone registered ths Sept. but he/she won't be able to attend this year?????P (Sept - 2010).
