At present am having 3 years HSMP tier1 visa approved. By the time my OSPAP Course & pre reg training would finish my visa will also expire. Wil the current changes in visa rules ie removal of community pharmacist from shortage skills job would affect my chances of renewal of my visa under HSMP Tier 1. Would like to have some info about this.

hi pradeep, I dont think it will effect your visa extn, because the criteria to give a visa or extend the visa,(if the profession is not listed) requires you to earn minimum 22k-25k. which I am sure once you qualify the minimum you can earn is 32k-34k. so dont worry about it mate. good luck

Re: Community Pharmacists out of shortage list UKBA

    Hi all,
As Raoul mentioned that it will be difficult for those outside the UK to apply for a tier 2 sponsorship because the profession has been taken out from the short list occupation.

I have a valid work permit from my previous employer that will expire in February 2010. The thing is that I have completed 52 weeks of training and passed my exam but did not get signed off and had to do a further 6 months training with a different company. (My former employer cant take me back on )

My work permit will not be valid if I work for another company. So what kind of visa can I apply for in order to complete my training here?

Anyone with word of advice? Thanks
