    Working in Canada

Does anyone have any experience of working in community pharmacy in Canada. Particularly BC. Saw an ad in PJ a few weeks ago for Shoppers Drug Mart, and it looks quite good. You can run a franchise and they will guarantee you C$110,000, (about £60k) I know you can get more in USA, (about $120,000) (£80k!) but would appreciate any comments from any one who has worked in Canada or lived there. I hear the tax is V high?! Is that compared to UK or USA? Also anyone who has worked in USA, I would be keen to hear about retail pharmacy there and good and bad chains! Thanks. GOP.

There has been quite a bit about Canada on here, esp in the student forums. I suggest you do a search on the word Canada, and check "Show Posts."

As I recall, it was more about studying there than the tax situation, but it would be a useful place to start (maybe).
    ....just my opinion
