There are many hoops to jump through to work in the US.
This site has some details about it if you search.
Where am I?; In the Pharmacy.
Who are you?; The new Number 2.
Who is number 1?; You are number 6.
What do you want?;..................
thanks for the tip. I've read up on the processes and was wondering if it was worth it. I mean I wouldnt mind going through all the exams etc if i knew the end result would be worth it.
Before you consider the USA, look at the vid on utube 'pharmacy respect'.

just saw the video. Very funny..scared me a bit too....but isnt it the same in the uk? i think it might depend on the hospital you work in.
Well I've still got 1 more year left of my MPharm then my pre-reg so hopefully things would have changed by then or i might change my mind.
thanks for replying....
on another note....there doesnt seem to be a lot of hospital pharmacists on this forum.
Always been the same in most areas. Hospital pharmacists tend to keep together and the guild supplies their pharmacy socialising.
However, In Cambridge, our Chair is a hospital pharmacist, we have meetings at Addenbrookes and always good attendance from hosp preregs etc
Having hospital pharmacists present puts a different perspective on things.
