Hi Friends,
I got approval from RPSGB to do my OSPAP within next 2 academic years. I wanted to go for Brighton, but i know its too late now, still I'm hoping to get a place![]()
I have already received an application form from RGU. I think I will apply for both of them and wait.
Thinking ahead, anyone from RGU experience? Please i need to know mainly about the accomodation aoutside the campus and accessibility to the place from Aberdeen city. Also if someone has travelled between Aberdeen and London frequently?
Shan
Excellent train service from Kings Cross to Aberdeen, we did it last year for a holiday.

Whoa..I haven't logged in for some time and thanks everyone for keeping this thread of mine active!
Hi Shan,
I've just got my approval too! Same here I'd like to join Brighton but I am way too late! Because my IELTS has already expired....so I need to resit
ANyone else that has recently received approval from RPSGB?
Hi shan its not possible to frequently travel from aberdeen to london by train looking at the distance and cost of the train tickets involved.Do you have any particular reason for choosing aberdeen I mean you can try for sunderland as I have recently graduated from there after finishing my ospap and started my prereg too.Fees wise and comparing living costs sunderland and aberdeen are nearly equal whereas brighton and aston expensive.
hi all
i've read all the post in this area thru which i came to a great deal of the situation of colleges and many of my doubts are also cleared.you all people have done a great effort in giving replies to all the inquiries.well im a registered pharmacist in Dubai Healthcare City.i have applied for OSPAP whose final decision is supposed to come at the end of this month.quite nervous whether it will be approved or not.......will disturb u all if approval comes in selecting the univ but im more intrested in aston coz my brother lives in birmingham and hope to stay wid him else not compulsory depends upon univ.kindly if anyone can give me updates about aston?will be appreciated.
thanks
Hi All,
I have decide finally to stick to RGU studies. Anyone in this forum who is ex-RGU OSPAP student or even who is planning to join or may be already booked a place? I would like to know more about how is life in RGU?
Shan
Hi, it's good for you that your brother is in Birmingham and you won't have much problem with accomodation.I am planning to join Aston too! My friend graduated from Aston last year. What would you like to know about the school? I've recently received approval from RPSGB. I understand that we will need to inform RPSGB on the school of choice and the chosen university would then send us the application form accordingly. Brighton is very popular and the places are usually taken up by now. I am not sure if there's still a place for me in Aston this year. Otherwise, I'd have to apply for 2009. By the way, if you were interested to join OSPAP this year, you should be looking at pre-reg application by now I suppose.....

hi
thanks for the reply
wat do you mean by pre reg..........im not aware for this process.please clear it to me.i cannot join the ospap this year will join next year, coz im already working as hospital pharmacist in dubai and cannot leave the job until next year 2009.i'm concerned about the expenses at univ, like in birmingham accomodation is with bro,but wat about travelling to aston and meeting living expenses there.wat about jobs in pharmacy like while studying how much hours we can work and im intrested in hospital pharmacy although i 've more work experince in retail so can we get internee job in hospital.my question might seem mixed up but im not aware of procedures there.
