    Hi Summayya,

I just read your mail. I am also from India, currently living in London. As long as you practice a lot IELTS score of 7 is acheivable. I did it in my first attempt in Feb this year.

As per RPSGB application please visit their site about.co.uk - Find out {more} and you will have all details for you. You have not mentioned how long you have been in UK and on what Visa? It will have an impact on your application. And also their are documents you may need to arrange to get it sent directly to the society from India.

In most probability that you get your IELTS results by July, still I am doubtful if you will be approved by the society for OSPAP this year , as you can only apply to them after getting the IELTS certificate. And from what I have heard they meet only between Jan to June every year.

Still you can send an email with all your queries to the email provided at rpsgb web site, and they reply fairly quick if your query is genuine.

    All the best.

    Shan

    Hello Shan,

Thanks for ur response. well I am in UK since 6 months and am on dependent visa. I enquired rpsgb and got to know that i can apply to them even after taking ielts in july but in order to start the course in sept i need to confirm the seat with the uni. Meanwhile i can arrange for the directly sent documents to rpsgb, as was told by them.

But i just need templates preparing the directly sent documents like refences and letter frm registrtion body in india. Can u help me in providing just templates of these doc as i have less time can't really spare time for preparing them and i also have to start prepn for ielts.

    Look fwd to ur reply

    Sumayya

    Hi Sumayya,

    Thanks for all the blessings.

I shall send you the documents. Where exactly from you? I mean from which part of India? Note following documents are required:

    1) Document from your previous employer. You need to arrange from both empolyer in UK if any and employer from India before coming to UK.

    2) Full Transcript from your college or University, where you completed your B. Pharm/ M. Pharm. Basically this is a letter where they give comlete marks achieved, year on year, each subject you have studied. I hope your college or your University will know about it. It will be better if you talk to your Principal if you still know him.

    3) Letter from the Pharmacy council in India where you are registered. Kindly note that I was not registered in India even after 13 years of getting my degree so the letter i send you will say I am eligible to register. Whereas if you are registered in India, you can just request that you are registered and the registration details have to be given in the letter.

    4) Reference letter from your Professor/ Principal.

    5) Reference letter from your employer in UK, if any.

All the above letters have to be printed on the respective letterheads with the seal and signature.

Write in if you need more help.

    Shan

    Hi Shan,

I received the prototype doc u sent. Thank u very much. I have allready arranged for Transcript and Reference letter from professor and also letter from A.P pharmacy council where I am registered as soon as i received my degree. They just need to be signed and sent. Probably by the end of the week it will be done but no idea how much time this will take. And i have to arrange for a ref letter from my employer in India even this will be done by this week hopefully. I left that job in aug 07 and since then i havent joined any job. I am in Scotland since nov 07 but havent been working. Will this gap have any effect on my application. And even after completing my degree i was jobless but worked for 1 month in hospital pharmacy, so can i extend this experience to 6 months in my CV till i got a job in life science analytics comp. where i worked for 18 months or I can keep gaps? pls advise....

Thanks once again for ur time and tips

    Hi Sumayya,

It is better that you mention all employment as it is in your CV. They require you to mention the period when you did not work. So when you prepare your CV for the RPSGB you need to include

    1) Full education details. Degree onwards with details when? Where? How long? Final Marks?

    2) You need to give the addresses of the employers you have worked with. Also you need to breefly describe the work you did.

I'm still hoping that I may get in to Brighton, but if that doesn not happen I may plan to join RGU Aberdeen. I may need your help that time to find a place for me and my wife in Aberdeen

    Regards
    Shan

    Hello Shan

Sorry for delay in replying. Thanks for CV info. And Sure i will do whatever i can to arrange an accomodation for u and ur wife and hopefully we can arrange for u.

And 1 more doubt regarding academic transcript, i would like to clarify whether the trascript of consolidated marks memo is to be sent or trascript for individual semisters is to be sent to rpsgb?
