Student visas being looked at very closely now in light of exposure of 'sham' colleges. If she studied at Ibadan, that had links with SOP London and they would know exactly what is required. It is possible you could get a student visa to study and then be refused when you want to do pre reg. Read previous posts in this thread.

The problem is; some members are not willing to read anything. They just want an answer! they keep on bloody repeating the same questions. It's a bit irritating.

good news after all, for those who have been following up with my posts re work permits. i just heard back from the home office, and they assured me that last year they installed a system to deal with this issue i.e ' international students graduating from UK unis'. the visa is known as ' post study visa' and valid up to 2 years regardless if you have a job offer or not. it is just a way of saying ' thank you for your contribution, you have 2 years to work in whatever you want, look for a job...etc'. Having said that, i will be applying for the visa soon, and should transfer to another category in 2 years time.

p.s not sure if OSPAP are entitled to apply for ' post study visa'.

i dedicate this song for all of ya to celebrate the good news for Raoul. tho i did rant to home office and even sent them a 3 pages letter regarding such an injustice. Thanks for the support mates xx

Excellent news Raoul. If you have a knowledge of Arabic, you could be very useful in posh London West End Pharmacy. John Bell and Croyden would be the one to contact. I was very friendly with their Export Manager 25 years ago. Pharmacy in the Harley Street area is another world. Friend of mine at college had served his apprenticeship at Vere St Pharmacy originally owned by John Hanbury of Allen and Hanbury.

Now settle down, be calm and take your exams. Your future is assured.

Thanks John, i am a Towner (if there is such a word) and i do not like big cities, especially london. i prefer to have a simple life in the countryside and stay away from the big cities. a place with low crime rates suits me better. Croydon? why? to get knived next day by the mobs?
I do speak arabic, but i prefer to stay away from the suggested areas. i have been to the arabic street in london (adjware or whatever it's called) once in the last 4 years, and i only went there to smoke argeela( shisha, known as hookah as well) before the smoking ban.

    Cheers

Well at least have a look at their site. Edgware and Harley street as different as downtown and uptown.

At least with Croydon, you would be convenient for Eurostar. In that case only one co for you, Paydens.

They have an excellent reputation with personal interest shown in staff by the owners.

Are they not owned by Lloyds now? Maybe I'm wrong-thought I read it a few years back.
