Lease expires in a store with little or no profit. Don't renew, invest elsewhere

I confirmed it with local business transfer agent. A few in North West currently available but negotiations are hush hush, ie they aren't being advertised. Pharmacies that have been difficult to run or not performed very well in the main. So if you know a Lloyds pharmacy run for the last year on locum cover only, contact them and ask if they want to sell it. This isn't a "fire sale" and there are unlikely to be any bargains.

Daymn. I have worked in 3-4 areas, over the last 3-4 years, and in that time, Lloyds have sold about 5 branches. Even the big boys aren't invicible (or the MD, AM etc want a nice fat-cat-style bonus again, and the pot's nearly empty, and shareholders are getting edgy)

Possibly in areas with highly unprofitable prescribing habits eg. long prescribing intervals 3-6 months, high use of branded generics etc.
